At present, the initiatives underway are in various stages of progress (ports in operation or under construction, extensions, applications for state sea concessions or identification of new locations).

In particular, the following contacts are ongoing:

  • Croatian Government for three locations along the Dalmatian coast;

  • Montenegrin government for a location;

  • an Albanian municipality for the development of a nautical centre;

  • some Greek municipalities (2) for as many projects to develop existing structures;

  • some Turkish operators for two initiatives to be developed, one as a joint venture and the other to be taken over en bloc;

  • an important Egyptian Municipality for the development of a marina in joint venture with the local Industrial Union

  • an important Egyptian group active in real estate, interested in a partner for the management of its maritime assets

  • The group is waiting for the final stabilization of the new Libyan government to continue the study of two areas now mainly dedicated to fishing and on which contacts were initiated before the recent events.

In Tunisia, in addition to the initiative in Sidi Bou Said, a second location is being considered for early operation.

Lastly, contacts are underway in Algeria and Morocco for the analysis and selection of at least two other locations along the southwestern stretch of the Mediterranean coast.

The group has also expressed interest in the management of the Tangier Marina being built in Morocco.

With regard to the French coasts, already characterized by a large number of tourist port infrastructures, possible joint ventures will be examined once the Marinedi group will be definitively consolidated in the European market, in order to definitively affirm the principle of the Mediterranean Network of Marinedi, while contacts are already in progress with some important Spanish realities for some partnerships.
